Job's Daughters
The International Order of Job's Daughters

The International Order of Job's Daughters is a premier organization
for young women between the ages of 10 and 20 who are related
to Master Masons. The Order strives to teach high moral conduct,
love of country, love of family and friends and respect for others
throughout the world.

Job's Daughters generally meet twice a month in a place called a
Bethel, or Holy place. Our Bethels usually meet in a Masonic Lodge.

In Indiana, there are approximately 40 Bethels throughout the state.
You can check the Location of Indiana Bethels page to see if there is
a Bethel near you. There is also a list of persons on this page you can
contact to find out more about a particular Bethel or about
Job's Daughters in general.

Membership requirements are covered on the
How to Join Job's Daughters page.

who serves as the presiding officer of the Bethel. All officers serve for a term of 6 months.

Elective Offices: Honored Queen, Senior Princess, Junior Princess,
Guide and Marshall.

Appointive Offices: Recorder, Treasurer, Chaplain, Librarian, Musician, First Messenger,
Second Messenger, Third Messenger, Fourth Messenger, Fifth Messenger,
Senior Custodian, Junior Custodian, Inner Guard and Outer Guard.

COUNCIL: The Guardian Council of a Bethel is a group of volunteer adults who serve as advisors
to the Bethel. The Guardian Council members are appointed by the Grand Guardian annually
based on recommendations from current council members and the daughters.

GRAND & SUPREME COUNCILS

All of the Bethels in a geographical area, usually a state or province can operate under the guidance
of a Grand or Jurisdictional Guardian Council and these Grand or Jurisdictional Councils operate under
the auspices of the Supreme Guardian Council. In some areas, Bethels operate directly under the
guidance of the Supreme Guardian Council. Indiana is one of the areas that have a Grand Guardian Council.
